We invite paper proposals for:
A- Panels: Sessions will last two hours and should be composed of a chair and a maximum of four presenters (the chair may be one of the presenters). The submission must be made by the session chair, who must include the panel´s general proposal and an abstract of the work of each presenter. Panels are restricted to PHDs, PHD students, Masters and Master students. Before submitting your work, make sure all the presenters are associate members and have paid their annual fee.
B- Individual papers:Sessions will last two hours with a maximum of four presenters. They will be organized according to the themes of presentation taking into consideration the key words indicated by the authors when submitting their work. Papers must be submitted by their authors. Individual papers are restricted to PHDs, PHD students, Masters and Master students.
C- Posters:During the event, there will be two poster sessions. Abstracts must be submitted by their authors. This mode of presentation is open to undergraduate and graduate students, masters and PHDs.
Papers submission guidelines:
Submissions must be done until December 30th, 2011,electronically via website of the III International Conference of ABRAPUI (http://www.abrapui.org/congresso2012/)
In order to submit proposals it is necessary to be a member of ABRAPUI. The procedures to become a member for residents outside Brazil are:
· Fill in an application form at our website www.abrapui.org;
· Pay the annual fee through credit card clicking on the link below (You will fill in a form with your personal information. Then, you will be redirected to a safe site to provide your credit card information).The annual fee is US$100.
Each abstract must contain:
- A title of up to 200 characters (including spaces);
- A text between 1000 to 2000 characters (including spaces);
- 3 keywords separated by semicolons.
Abstracts and titles can be written in English or in Portuguese.
The review process will be conducted anonimously. Authors should not include in the text any identification on the authorship of the abstract.
Important Considerations:
In panels, each author can submita proposal for only one paper (individually authored or co-authored).
For individual papers and posters, each author can submit only one proposal as the main author.
Only members of the ABRAPUI are allowed to present papers at the III International Conference of ABRAPUI.The only exception is for undergraduates who can present their posters without being members of ABRAPUI.
Notification of acceptance will be available to authors fromJanuary 31st, 2012 on.
Registrations are available fromFebruary, 1st , 2012 on. Registration fees are listed below:
